Austin Commercial Photography: When a client comes to you with what they need, ask yourself, “How can I help them achieve this?” and then do the following.
First, ask yourself what you could accomplish that would be more valuable to them than accomplishing this task themselves. What if you could accomplish it faster, cheaper, or more effectively? What if you could do it in less time?
Second, ask yourself what is their time frame for completing this task and how can you help them meet that goal. In many cases, your goal is to get the job done in a timely manner and for less cost than the local commercial photography company. In other cases the project just needs a face-lift or a cosmetic touch up and your goal is to reduce costs by getting results that are as close as possible to what they want all along.
Third, bring them into your working space so they can see the photos that are being taken of their property or product. Show them examples of what they are about to see before it is captured by a professional photographer and then ask them for their feedback on your work.
Ask questions like “What was missing from these shots? Did we capture these objects at too close an angle? Did we capture enough light? Did we leave any shadows on the ground?” It's important not only to show them how much time went into each photo but also prompt them with questions such as “Are there any parts of this scene that you don't like but want even more attention? Do you have any suggestions on how we might improve this photo?"
Of course there are other factors which will affect image quality such as lighting conditions (foggy day vs direct sun), graininess caused by vibration or motion during exposure (people running fast vs people walking slowly), etc., but these four major factors are very easy to recognize when looking at photos and can be identified easily when comparing pictures side-by-side against each other. Of course from an engineering standpoint there might be some challenges — do we have enough light source(s) in frame or are there shadows visible in the background that are causing blurriness — but for something like your business sign - it should not matter because these signs should only get noticed if you make sure they stand out from everything else on the street - yours included - so as not to get lost among all those other signs in front of stores or businesses.

We take great pride in our work and shoot HDR photos. HDR means High Dynamic Range. This is a photography technique that combines multiple exposures of the same scene into one photo. This allows us to capture a greater range of tonal detail than what is possible with a single exposure. The result is photos that have more depth and dimensionality, and are more true-to-life than photos taken with a single exposure.
All photos are taken in RAW allowing our in-house editors to make color and exposure adjustments to every image prior to delivery. This allows us to fine-tune each photo to ensure that it looks its best.
We typically shoot 40 photos per listing, however, this number can vary depending on the size of the home or commercial space. Our editing team works overnight and all photos are delivered the next day. Austin 360 photography is the premier real estate photography service in and nearby Austin Texas.
Five things you might consider when getting your home ready for photos are:
1. Declutter your home before the residential photography session
2. Clean your home or business
3. Remove personal items that you would not like others to see
4. Turn on all lights (even the lights outside the home or business)
5. Open blinds and curtains
