In May of this yearBelgravia had a smaller festival, but to coincide with the Chelsea Flower Showand Chelsea in Bloom, this year they are back with their famous flower show. In its sixth year and taking place on the 20th-26th ofSeptember, get ready to see Belgravia and Chelsea transformed with some spectacular floristry, from floral installations to massive displays of exquisite artistry. For Belgravia their most luxury florists will be collaborating to bring you the most extravagant displays to fit their theme this year, with the well-established Moyses Stevens, the first year that they have decorated on behalf of the Belgravia in Bloom, and Pullbrook & Gould unveiling a helter skelter in Eccleston Yard, it will be a sizeable spiraling tower with bright-colored flowers. You will also find a floral carousel in Halkin Arcade which will have been created by Neill Strain and Judith Blacklock. Moyses Stevens will as well be decorating their own store, which they have yet to reveal what with, just as they have done before.
Inspired by ‘aroundthe world in 80 days’, Chelsea’s prestigious ‘Chelsea in Bloom’ which takesplace annually will once again be modifying the streets to bring you breath taking views, all for free of course. Since its first year in 2006, this flower art show has grown enormously and is now known for its world class displays. A regular participant, this year Moyses Stevens will be collaborating with the children’s brand Trotters which sells stylish clothing and shoes whilst also having its own hair salon. The two companies both specialize in luxury so it’s a partnership that will be interesting to see. The skilled florists will be delivering a stunningly designed piece for the Trotters brand this year which will see its mascot of a pig be transformed into a floral masterpiece, making it a real sight to behold.
In past years atChelsea in Bloom, Moyses Stevens have dazzled visitors of the art shows withits contemporary and theatrical designs for their store. In 2019 for the theme of ‘Under the Sea’, they really went all out and decorated their store front with an elaborate red octopus which sat upon an archway over the doorway. On the ground surrounding it were flowers to represent the sea floor with two star fish mixed in as well. Receiving rave reviews for their work, it was no surprise as they always ensure to pour their passion of floristry in to whatever they do whether that’s creating their famous hand-tied or their bespoke bouquets, to bring the visitors of the flower show an incredible experience and mesmerizing exhibit. Everyone is surely on the edge of their seats to see what they will deliver this year.
Another first forthe Belgravia in Bloom this year, they will be introducing an immersiveaugmented reality experience for the visitors of the show so that they can see the festival be brought to life. With an interactive map you’ll be able to explore the neighborhood whilst also being able to share your day online using a flower themed Instagram filter as well.
